While Essential oils are mostly beneficial in treating skin infections and allergies, but it is important to keep a few steps in mind.
· Always dilute Essential oils before use, they are highly concentrated and can cause skin damage if used alone. One-part Essential oil should be diluted with 3-part Carrier oil like Coconut, Jojoba, Olive or others.
· Perform a patch test before applying it to allergies, use diluted Essential oil on the back of your hand or elbow, and wait for 24 hours. If there is no reaction, it is safe to use.
· Using essential oils should relieve such conditions, but if the condition gets worse or doesn’t get better after a few days. You should consult a doctor or dermatologist.
